Right after collage I worked for two years at a Fabricland store in Calgary, Alberta. I really did learn a lot about fabrics and marketing and I value the experience that I had there. This dress was made for display as part of the cruise collection. Making clothes for the store was great because after it hung in the store for a month I got to bring it home. I did end up with lots of things I would never wear but it was still lots of fun getting to make different kinds of things and working with different fabrics.
