It can be an interesting experiment to try and portray an extremely delicate subject matter in such a heavy medium. The fox glove is a unique looking spring flower that attracts the equally unique humming bird. To see the two together is a beautiful and sometimes rare site. On the other extreme is block printing where carved wood or lino blocks are inked and put through a large printing press where the paper is under so much pressure that the design is not only left printed on the paper but embossed. This was a fun experiment that might work as a fabric print.
