I was looking through the beautiful burlesque book Pretty Things and came across a bunch a pictures of performers dressed for their Boston or less risque versions of their performances. One of the women was wearing a small, round, pink pastie with a little button where her nipple would have been and I thought it would be the perfect fit for my fan dancing costume. I settled on making a heart shaped pastie due to the fact that I've got more to work with then the dear little thing that was wearing the tiny round ones in the book.

I was lucky enough to see a picture of these pasties being used, WOW is all I got to say, I was actually surprised to see them heart shaped...but to be honest as great as they where I had a hard time just concentrating on the pasties alone when first they appeared.
